Position Summary :

Branch Sales Associates provide solutions and easily connect with branch walk-in customers. The Sales Associate objective is to capitalize on sales opportunities, create customer loyalty, and exceed customer expectations by using their guidance, knowledge, computer acumen, and winning attitude. Branch Sales Associates have excellent all-around communication skills as well as the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

This is a part-time position (32 / hrs per week, Mon-Fri, Days)

Job Responsibilities (You Will) :

  • Ownership of the entire customer experience. This includes appropriate product selection, accurate order entry and maintenance, accurately and safely picking product, and safely loading customer vehicle as needed.
  • Consistently performs actions with branch sales focus to capitalize on sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty to deliver revenue targets
  • Learn and easily navigate through various computer systems and applications for customer facing and warehouse activities
  • Agility to shift focus seamlessly from assisting customers to other various branch tasks including performing warehouse and showroom related tasks safely for pickup or shipping
  • Perform housekeeping duties as needed to ensure branch appearance meets Grainger standards

Education / Experience (You Have) :

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years of experience in related field preferred.
  • Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation
  • Own your personal development, accept feedback, and be proactive with your leader to support your growth
  • Ability to work in a position requiring :
  • Continuous standing and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted on a regular basis
  • Ability to safely learn and operate powered industrial equipment
  • Successful and timely completion of initial and ongoing training as required
  • Other branch support duties as assigned according to business needs
  • This position is hourly and will pay between $ 24.47 - $ 28.00. This role is bonus eligible.

    Factors involved in determining the salary include, but are not limited to : a candidate’s experience, qualifications, and geographical area.
