Technical Material Specialist

AirPro SAR Services is currently looking for a Technical Material Specialist to join our team in Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada.

AirPro SAR Services Inc., a proud Canadian joint venture between Airbus Defence and Space and PAL Aerospace, delivers end‑to‑end support for the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Fixed Wing Search and Rescue (FWSAR) fleet. Our work matters, every mission, every part, every person. We are united by a single goal : to keep the CC295 Kingfisher fleet flying and ready to respond when Canadians need it most.

The role of Technical Material Specialist is at the heart of ensuring peak performance in logistics contracts, driving demand anticipation, and mastering inventory management. You'll manage material performance‑based activities for the FWSAR contract, playing a pivotal role in supporting Canada's cutting‑edge C295 aircraft fleet. This dynamic position offers a chance to excel in a high‑stakes environment, where your expertise will directly impact the success and readiness of a vital national asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

Track and manage Initial Parts List (IPL) and spares consumption, ensuring inventory is optimized and supply discipline is maintained, including Reorder Point (ROP) management.

• Investigate root causes of out‑of‑stock (MTO) issues and suggest fixes.
• Prepare supplier forecasts, considering future material demand triggers.
• Propose actions to reduce MTO and improve supply chain efficiency.

Align aircraft maintenance and operational material requirements.

Provide daily SAP support for FWSAR MCC Technical Material Managers (TMMs) and Warehouse Operators (WOs).
