What you need to be successful?

In depth understanding of tool drawings and their relation to the assembly process.

Strong mechanical aptitude with applicable experience.

Knowledge of assembly and production functions and processes.

Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Must be quality driven and committed to provide quality services in a demanding environment.

Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.

Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Able to support weekday & weekend OT as required.

Must be able to interact with various groups from both Plant 22 and other plants.

What your day to day will look like?

Aware of and applies EHS policy to all processes, tools, and equipment.

Register Tool# in ITDM data base.

Receive tool and reviews inspection report.

Set Inspection frequency in ITDM.

Release tool for use.

Create a damage report.

Change status of tools in ITDM.

Close the demand after successful repair.

Fill out tooling validation tags.

Run an “inspection due” report in ITDM.

Deliver tools to shipping, change status / location in ITDM.

Receive inspected / calibrated tool and verify the inspection report.

Receiving tools with new revision change.

Inform process planner that tool is ready for use.

Shift work required (2 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons on rotation), alternate shifts may be required at times.
