Experienced Automotive Sales Manager, Mitsubishi Richmond

Are you an experienced Sales Manager looking for a new challenge? Look no further! We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team for our Mitsubishi Richmond store, where you'll have the opportunity to grow and succeed with us. We're searching for a dynamic individual who is up for the challenge of motivating our team and driving success. What You’ll Bring

Our ideal Sales Manager will live, breathe and be passionate about cars and the automotive industry. You’ll have proven success in managing and leading people within a car dealership. You’ll know the sales cycle like the back of your hand. A successful automotive sales manager should have exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to motivate and lead a team, in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, and a track record of achieving sales targets.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies : The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the dealership's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the sales team : The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and leading the sales team, which includes recruiting, training, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve their targets.
  • Achieve revenue targets through sales volume : The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by increasing sales volume and profitability for the dealership.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships : The Sales Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Forecast sales and monitor performance : The Sales Manager is responsible for forecasting sales and monitoring performance against targets, using data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Measurables :

  • Driving Sales Volume : You are responsible for driving sales volume by implementing effective sales strategies that align with the dealership's goals and objectives.
  • Ensuring Customer Satisfaction : You are responsible for ensuring customers receive excellent service and support throughout the sales process. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Maximizing Gross Profit : You are responsible for maximizing gross profit margins by maintaining price integrity, achieving sales volume targets, CSI targets, and finance office assistance.
  • Developing Your Sales Team : As the Sales Manager, it is your responsibility to develop your sales team by recruiting, training, coaching, and motivating them to achieve their targets.
  • Improving Lead Conversion Rates : You are responsible for improving lead conversion rates by providing your sales team with the necessary support to convert those leads into actual sales.
  • Commission Payment :

    As an Independent Contractor, you will be paid a combination of a monthly commission payment guarantee plus a variable commission payment plan. Provided you hit your targets, our Product Advisors can make anywhere between $100,000 to $185,000 annually. As an Independent Contractor, you are responsible for setting up your own Sole Proprietorship and registering to have a GST number. After which you are responsible for paying your yearly taxes as a Sole Proprietorship (or Corporation, if you so choose). It is generally advisable that you connect with a Tax professional to receive advice on how to handle this from the beginning of your contract with Applewood.

    What we need from you :

  • 5+ years of Automotive Management experience
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office and other applications)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
