The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of IT Supervisor - Application Support . This job is full-time permanent.

Your challenges

  • Manage application priorities for different systems in collaboration with business users
  • Manage budgets and vendors used for applications
  • Analyze and prioritize needs with different business departments
  • Prioritize the work of team members and support them in their work
  • Actively participate in various projects involving your team as a coordinator
  • Develop and implement new NEW or other solution
  • Support the team that will provide level 1 and 2 support for applications
  • Follow-up on internal audit controls regarding the processes surrounding code and data management
  • Implement and monitor systems-level quality assurance management processes
  • Conduct team member assessments and ensure the personal development of each team member
  • Update the system documentation

Your profile :

  • Baccalaureate degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in support and development team leadership
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant technical experience with . NET, SSRS and SQL Server
  • Recent experience in managing a support team

    • Your skills :

  • Excellent technical knowledge of NET, SSRS and SQL SERVER technology to support team members
  • Excellent resource management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to deliver quality results on time, see in advance
  • Motivation, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French and ability to clearly explain complex ideas, due to regular interactions with internal and external clients located outside Quebec
  • Analytical ability to solve problems
  • Ability to manage tasks and priorities in a fast-paced team environment
  • Knowledge of HQ is an asset
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL is an asset
