We are actively seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about embarking on a long-term journey with us, contributing to our growth and success.  A DAY IN THE LIFE  Report directly to the Site Manager for projects and customer service needs.    Lead and mentor a crew of 5+ Journeymen and Apprentice Plumbers on diverse projects and jobs.  Install all materials, equipment, and systems in a proficient and correct manner to deliver projects on time and on budget.   Perform quality control inspections to exceed client expectations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.  Act as the right hand to our Foreman by planning and coordinating sub-trades and identifying efficiencies and cost-savings to maximize project success.  Proactively manage on-site tools and equipment.  Collaborate with team members to help resolve issues.   Ensuring installations comply with applicable codes and regulations, coordinating inspections as needed.  Ensuring compliance with the company's Operational Health and Safety Manual.  Location of Current secured work : Burnaby, Vancouver, UBC, New West, Richmond, Bowen Island.  Scope 60% plumbing and the other 40% is heating, cooling, hydronic systems (including industrial work).  Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork.    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE  2+ years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber on commercial sites.   Previous experience as a Lead Hand or Working Foreman is considered an asset.  Red Seal Plumber Certification.  Positive and driven leader with experience managing small teams and projects.  Proficiency in plumbing installations with some knowledge of mechanical systems.  Strong understanding and exposure to industry safe work practices (safety is a priority for us!).  Outstanding time and project management skills to complete work on time and within budget.  Self-motivated with the ability to maintain productivity without supervision.  Reliable and dependable team player that shows up on time.  Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and technology.  You bring solutions to any roadblock that comes up on the job.  We want to hear from you!
