WHAT DOES A SERVICE MANAGER DO
As part of the service team Service Manager is responsible for the effective management of all aspects of the Service Department which ensures customer satisfaction and maximum profitability.
Schedule manage and maintain technicians to maximize efficiency while minimizing overheadGenerate and promote service business through direct calls targeted advertising and Mazergroup preventative maintenance programsWork with customers and technicians to explain repairs and expenses resolve complaints and offer value-added and / or preventative maintenance servicesCreate maintain track and close service work orders for such things as new equipment assembly pre-delivery inspections customers repairs installations etc. on various manual and electronic systemsMeet and exceed department budget and targetsCo-Chair for Health and Safety Committee for dealership and always promoting a highly safety-conscious environmentAnd so much more!WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO US
5 years in a leadership role would be an assetA journeyperson in AET or HDET would be an assetAdvanced management / leadership skills to manage a highly technical staff shop and projects including effective employee schedulingAdvanced knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirementsSupervisory experience would be considered an assetMarketing experience would be viewed as an assetCustomer service in a sales and service capacity / environmentMid-level technical knowledgeBasic knowledge of financial statements and creation of annual budgetsStrong Computer skills Microsoft Word Excel web browsingAbility to travel 2-3 times per year to Company and Vendor Training sessionsA valid drivers license is requiredWe thank all applicants for their interest; however only candidates selected for next steps will be contacted.
