Reporting to the Head of Product, the successful candidate will influence the on-device experience that quietly empowers users to take control of their energy. Their perspective will help make invisible systems feel intuitive and indispensable.
Key responsibilities:
- Bring the emotional, psychological, and lifestyle context of users into product conversations to ensure relevance and empathy in decision-making.
- Promote a user-first mindset across teams by advocating for empathy, trust, and real-world impact over internal technical bias or assumptions.
- Observe patterns and blind spots in user experience that may not be visible through data alone, and challenge internal assumptions using empathetic insights.
- Produce thoughtful written critiques, post-sprint notes, and beta testing reviews that highlight missed opportunities and areas for improvement.

Key requirements
- Background in consumer research, behavioral psychology, business administration, or anthropology, with curiosity for how people think and make choices.

- Developed, handson interest in smart home technology, emobility, and/or clean energy solutions, with a practical curiosity to explore how these systems work in everyday life.
- Ability to discern visual design and aesthetics, noticing product details that elevate perceived quality, create emotional appeal, and spark consumer interest.
