Project Manager

We have the exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join Fitness World. Fitness World is a next level Fitness and Wellness company. The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for all of the organization’s departments. The projects of this position are diverse and will include a range from various IT projects to new club openings. To be successful in this role, you will need to be well-organized and be able to work in collaboration with vendors, IT and other business stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Oversees a team of managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.

Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.

Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.

Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.

Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).

Effectively communicate status of project to the project sponsor and executive time in a timely manner.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones

Addresses questions, concerns, and / or complaints throughout the project.

Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.

Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Technical Requirements

Proven ability to communicate technical specs to various stakeholders.

Solid understanding of APIs, IT Infrastructure, IT software, ERP systems, and CRM systems

Experience in IT project implementations

Understanding of data structure

Experience in project implementation from initiation to closure

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required.

At least five years of related experience required.

PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and / or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

Compensation :

Base salary between 70,000-75,000 annually, with annual bonus opportunity of 25,000 dependent on completion of projects.
