Job Overview

The Senior ServiceNow HRSD Developer is responsible for the design, development, configuration, and implementation of HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role plays a critical part in delivering seamless, secure, and scalable employee experiences, with a strong focus on Employee Center / Employee Center Pro and integrations with enterprise HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

The incumbent serves as a senior technical contributor, collaborating closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and platform architects to translate business requirements into high-quality ServiceNow solutions while adhering to platform best practices, security standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow HRSD modules, including :

HR Case Management

Lifecycle Events

Employee Center / Employee Center Pro

HR Knowledge Management

Develop and enhance employee self-service portals and widgets using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and the Service Portal framework.

Implement automated HR workflows using Flow Designer, legacy Workflow, and JavaScript / Glide API scripting.

Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.

Integration

Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow HRSD and enterprise HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Workday, or equivalent platforms.

Utilize REST / SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server to enable secure and reliable data exchange.

Support integrations related to onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employee lifecycle events.

Security & Compliance

Configure and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) to protect sensitive HR data.

Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and internal governance standards.

Testing & Documentation

Conduct unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work closely with HR business partners, IT teams, and ServiceNow platform architects to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Continuous Improvement

Stay current with ServiceNow releases and product enhancements.

Evaluate and implement new capabilities such as Virtual Agent, AI Search, Performance Analytics, and other HRSD innovations to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including at least 3 years focused on HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and Employee Center.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, HRSD data model, and portal development.

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Glide scripting.

Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central or similar enterprise HR systems.

Experience working with IntegrationHub, REST / SOAP APIs, and MID Server.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.

ServiceNow HRSD Implementation Specialist certification preferred.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
