Building Automation System & Network Support Specialist

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BAS & Network Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in desktop and server environments, network infrastructure, and building automation systems (BAS). You will play a key role in supporting field technicians, maintaining network hardware, and ensuring seamless connectivity across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support for Windows environments (Windows 7 through 11).
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers, primarily Ubuntu LTS.
• Diagnose and resolve IP network issues, including ISP routers, switches, and security appliances.
• Maintain and configure routers and firewalls, including Cisco Meraki and Cradlepoint devices.
• Support various internet connection types : Cellular, DSL, Cable, Fiber, and Fixed Wireless.
• Troubleshoot BAS networks, including Niagara 4 and similar controllers.
• Utilize Niagara 4 Supervisor and Workbench for system management (experience preferred).
• Conduct technical product research and provide recommendations.
• Support and maintain BAS protocols such as BACnet / IP and MTSP (knowledge preferred).
• Work with cloud and virtualization platforms such as Azure, AWS, and virtual desktops / servers.
• Use remote access tools (RDP, SSH, web portals) to manage systems.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
• Provide third-level technical support to field technicians and liaise with vendor support.
