Responsibilities

• Process requests from builders for meter activations for construction heat and appliance inspections before occupancy.
• Create, correct and coordinate the completion of work orders and schedule appointments using SAP and Maximo.
• Assist builders and heating contractors with the Get Connected application and advise of natural gas installation status.
• Provide first point of contact to potential residential and commercial, new and existing customers, by providing information to make an informed decision on installing natural gas or adding natural gas meters.
• Determine natural gas availability for potential new customers.
• Access Emma Cases and Listings daily to investigate billing and compliance issues to resolution.
• Maintain filing systems and Outlook mailboxes to ensure accounts are initiated for successful billing and inspections completed before occupancy.
• Identify issues to be tracked and monitored to ensure proper communication and attention within regional departments.
• Manage various record systems/filing to ensure they are current and that accurate data exists throughout multiple systems and ensuring follow up.
• Resolve all incoming inquiries through email and phone calls from internal and external customers.
• Receive complaints, verify their validity, update appropriate systems, and ensure complaints are followed to proper conclusion including discussions with customers.
• Complete other tasks and activities as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education or equivalent
• 5 years + of relevant work experience
• Excellent communications skills: verbal & written styles
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates good judgement and can work independently as we work from home
• Speaks French (bilingual)
• Knowledge of Company software programs such as Maximo, EGIS Web, CCWorksuite & SAP applications
