Job Overview

As Travel Destination Expert, you will add value through thoughtful selection in organizing and presenting tailormade arrangements to the exact standards as required by purpose-driven travellers, seeking fascinating and memorable experiences. You display in-depth knowledge of existing tourism infrastructures in Africa and Southeast Asia and are capable of independently creating itineraries of various styles and budgets, fulfilling the growing demand for aspirational, responsible and diverse travel. Working alongside your team members and suppliers, you can confidently navigate client expectations, build strong supplier partnerships and offer credible and impactful custom-tailored touring options.

Job requirements

• Demonstrate strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Possess client-focused approach with meticulous attention to detail
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in planning safaris and holidays to Africa and
• Southeast Asia
• Ability to independently design itineraries to required standards and budgets that align
• with client’s preferences
• Effectively liaise with destination-based suppliers securing best-suited accommodation
• and services
• Prioritize client satisfaction from initial contact to post-trip follow up •
• Possess proficiency with Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrate strong presentation and public-speaking skills
• Working with Finance department on a regular basis to effectively reconcile payables
• and receivables
• TICO certified
• Must have flexibility to travel as needed
