Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic engineer to join our firmware and software team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, unit testing, and verification of our industry-leading Switchtec System-on-Chip (SoC) PCI Express (PCIe) switching products. You’ll collaborate with team members across multiple sites, working within an agile environment that values technical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements; design, develop, integrate, debug, and verify security features—including secure boot, attestation, and secure manufacturing—as part of production-level PCIe Switch firmware on an SoC platform
• Collaborate with other firmware teams and interact with chip design, emulation, validation, and application engineering teams on pre-silicon development and post-silicon bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, and customer support
• Utilize analyzers, oscilloscopes, probes, built-in firmware tools, logging utilities, and other forensic capture tools to troubleshoot problems
• Write comprehensive technical documentation and customer user guides
• Coach junior firmware engineers on design reviews, code reviews, process enforcement, and continuous improvement

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. The annual base salary range for this position is $86,000-$186,000.
