Systems Testing / QA Specialist

About the Role

Our Client is seeking two experienced Systems Testing / QA Specialists to support enterprise application performance testing initiatives.

This is a full-time onsite contract position based in Toronto , Ontario , Canada . The successful candidates will play a key role in designing, executing, and reporting performance testing activities across complex enterprise and cloud-based application environments.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with client application teams to gather technical requirements for application load testing

Design and develop performance test plans, scripts, and test cases

Execute virtual user load testing across client environments

Analyze and document test results and performance reports

Provide system right-sizing and performance tuning recommendations

Validate performance against predefined business SLAs and criteria

Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across system configurations

Support after-hours testing execution when required

Share technical knowledge and mentor internal QA and testing teams

Required Experience & Qualifications Performance Testing Expertise

Proven experience designing, executing, and reporting performance tests

Strong experience with enterprise-scale load testing frameworks

Ability to translate business performance requirements into test scenarios

Application Architecture Knowledge

Strong understanding of :

Cloud-hosted applications

Multi-tier environments (Web / App / Database)

Data center and distributed system architectures

Requirements Analysis

Experience gathering functional and non-functional performance requirements

Experience acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and testing teams

Load Testing Experience

5 9 years executing load testing in large, complex enterprise environments

Experience participating in test planning, script peer review, and execution strategy

Technical & Scripting Skills

Strong scripting expertise (preferably VuGen )

Hands-on experience with :

Correlation and parameterization

Data extraction from transactions

Script optimization for high-scale workloads

Work Environment

Fully onsite role (5 days per week)

Standard OPS business hours

Occasional after-hours test execution required
