Pay or shift range : $109,000 CAD to $147,000 CAD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

JSI is seeking a Intermediate / Senior DevOps Engineer to join a highly successful and motivated team of likeminded developers who improve the act of software development at JSI by modernizing tooling around JSI process. The team is passionate about making others happier, more productive, improving both throughput and the overall development experience. You will apply your problem-solving skills to address the challenges inherent in the daily workflow of JSI process, and so every success in your daily work will be multiplied across the entire organization. Due to the wide breadth of languages and frameworks in use at JSI, the ability to learn and adapt to new technology and a thirst for continuous learning and improvement is vital.

Mandatory Skills

Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and languages quickly

Team player – able to share, mentor, and give and receive code review feedback openly, honestly, and fairly

Eligible for up to a Top-Secret security clearance.

Software Engineering, Computer Science degree or close equivalent

5+ years of experience working in a Software Development role

Strong written and verbal communication
