Position Overview

Nelson Christian Community School (NCCS) is a faith‑based educational community in Nelson, BC, committed to academic excellence and Christ‑centered learning from preschool to middle school.

We are seeking a dynamic and flexible Multi‑Grade, Multi‑Subject High School Teacher to join our team. This role involves teaching across multiple grades (K‑9) and subjects, fostering an engaging classroom experience tailored to diverse learning needs. This role is one and a half days per week (approximately 0.3 FTE), with scheduled hours to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons across multiple subjects and grade levels, aligned with the BC curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilities.
• Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess, record, and report student progress.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to support student learning.
• Participate in school‑wide activities, events, and professional development.
