We are seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our R&D team in Ottawa. The successful candidate will play a key role in the architecture, design, validation, and release of advanced hardware systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands‑on design capability, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to hardware architecture and system‑level design.
• Conduct and participate in peer design reviews.
• Support the development and definition of circuit pack functional requirements.
• Participate in component engineering including component selection, coding, and review.
• Capture detailed circuit‑level schematics.
• Perform design simulations and analysis.
• Develop PCB stackups and guide PCB layout efforts.
• Manage and coordinate PCB layout resources.
• Work with high‑speed RF transmission lines and high‑speed digital interfaces.
• Lead bring‑up, debug, and characterization of new designs.
• Mentor and guide junior hardware engineers.
