We’re looking for a Production Team Leader to join our Athabasca OSB Division,located in Slave Lake, Alberta. This state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Completion of Grade .Completion of post-secondary education in Engineering, Wood Sciences, or a related program is an asset.
• Demonstrated focus on safety.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 2-3 years' experience leading a team.
• Completion of a supervisory or leadership certificate is an asset.
• 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing setting (wood products manufacturing preferred).
• Experience in a shiftwork setting and continuous press experience is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Lead by example and set the bar for those around you on all things safety.
• Inspire and coach your team to achieve results.
• Work within and across teams to meet production targets, budgets and managing staffing levels.
• Identify and report on any maintenance and safety issues.
• Find solutions and meet goals.
• Optimize productivity and recovery.
