Role and Responsibilities
The role we are offering you :
As a glass technician for the MAD (magnetic anomaly detection product) production department, you will be responsible for the production of bulbs and magnetic resonance cells.
Your challenges :
- Blow, shape, separate or assemble glass components to very precise dimensions
- Inspect parts on a microscopic scale to identify microcracks, scratches and check glass wall thickness
- Operate a vacuum and pumping system to control the pressures of different gases
- Act as a reference point for engineering (technical support and analysis of recurring issues arising from repairs)
- Contribute to ensuring the maintenance of quality certifications (ISO 9001 at AS9100) for the department
Our ideal candidate has :
- DEC in laboratory technique, glass blowing or any other relevant combination
- 3 years of professional experience
- Chemical and thermodynamic knowledge
- Has good technical analysis
- Know how to work meticulously
- Highly organized, good time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication in French and English.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborate
- Mastery of the Office Suite, particularly Excel,
