Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the GL implementation lifecycle, including consulting with the client to collect, document and validate functional requirements, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training, and deployment.
- Apply functional and technical expertise to execute requirements effectively.
- Partner with client project managers and executives throughout the implementation.
- Engage with key client stakeholders such as Controllers, Accountants, and Financial Officers to analyze and document their specific GL posting requirements.
- Consult and advise clients on best practices that maximize value and return on investment.
- Collaborate with the project team, internal partners, external clients, and third parties to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide internal status updates, noting issues and risks with recommended resolution.
- Effectively manage multiple projects and clients with competing priorities and coach others to work effectively.
- Implement Organizational Readiness best practices in preparation for rollout.
- Train client staff to perform day‑to‑day activities.
- Identify best practices and lessons learned, and document / share internally.
- Complete new release training as needed and serve as a Dayforce expert.
Qualifications & Experience
2+ years of Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation experience (Dayforce preferred, but similar solutions such as UKG or ADP considered).Practical knowledge of accounting, payroll, and production environment implementation practices.Deep proficiency with XML / XSLT and experience with data conversion tools / processes (ETL).High level of proficiency creating HR, Payroll, Benefits 834 or Cobra files using XML / XSLT methodology.Understanding of common HCM business practices.Relationship management and consulting acumen – asking the right questions to design the right solution.Ceridian Integration and Ceridian Data Conversion Certification is an asset.Understanding and developing relational databases & SQL is an asset.Self‑motivated, articulate, and able to engage audiences.Benefits & Culture
