Elder Care Provider Wanted - 22/Hr Special Needs Caregiver For Young Adult Female With Cp

SE Calgary. No experience needed as we provide paid training. If you are a responsible, compassionate individual with an interest in brightening someone's life and enjoys the outdoors, arts, crafts or music with a fun and bubbly personality, we would love to meet you to see if this is a good fit. Client is a young adult female with Cerebral Palsy, who uses a wheelchair. The home is equipped with a motorized lift for transfers to the bed and commode. Client likes to go for walks, do crafts, play games, listen to music, read, and just hang out and giggle. The job entails personal care, tube feeding, range of motion, stretches and recreation.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED as we have an accessible van to take her to her programs and on outings to the zoo etc. Special needs experience is an asset but not necessary. Alternating shifts 7 am - 2 : 30pm and 1 : 30pm - 9 : 00 pm, Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday, depending upon employee availability and scheduling compatible with other staff members. Must be available for BOTH 7am - 2 : 30pm AND 1 : 30pm - 9pm shifts, or ONLY 1 : 30pm-9pm shifts. This is not straight 7am - 2 : 30pm shifts. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. We can NOT sponsor. Live in is an option but not mandatory
