ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Position Overview :
Foremost Industries has an immediate opening for a full-time Apprentice Welder. This position will work with Lead Hands and Foreman to ensure continuous improvements using CWB certified FCAW welding at our facility in Calgary, Alberta.
Key R esponsibilities :
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
- Performs work in their respective trades utilizing skills and equipment required
- Expected to purchase and maintain a set of tools to perform functions as experience dictates
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques
- Ensure compliance with Industry, Legislative, and corporate Safety policies and procedures
- Attain Journeyman status within five years of registration.
- Perform other tasks related to his / her classification
