Miles HR has an opportunity for a part-time, 2 days a week Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate will have strong Quickbooks Online experience combined with accurate data entry and payroll. Reporting to the Accountant / Bookkeeper you will responsible for preparing all documentation and inputs for month ends.
Duties :
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Data Entry of accounts payables and receivables into Quickbooks
- Data Entry of credit card transactions into Quickbooks
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Produce Salaried payroll
- Other accounting duties as required
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years recent accounting assistant experienceCertification / Diploma in accounting an assetProficient using Quickbooks OnlineStrong mathematical skills and attention to detailProficiency in data entry and ability to work with numerical dataExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of accounting principles and financial servicesProduces accurate workAbility to meet deadlines and produce work on timeFriendly, flexible attitudeIf you are looking for a 2 day a week Accounting Assistant role in Greater Vancouver apply here now!
