About Our Client
Our client, a high-end interior finishes company in the A&D industry is seeking a Senior A&D Sales Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building brand awareness, particularly in the Residential interior design and construction industry, by delivering solutions and developing strategic alliances with condominium developers, architects, and interior designers. The Senior A&D Sales Consultant will provide an exceptional showroom experience by consulting with a high-end clientele looking for luxury-level interior finishes.
Responsibilities
The Senior A&D Sales Consultant will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to :
- Performing showroom sales and outbound business development activities for designer luxury hardwood flooring and interior finishes.
- Meeting with customers in the showroom, prospecting, and calling on interior designers, architects, and custom luxury builders to introduce product and service benefits and advantages.
- Maintaining great client relationships and rapport, and handling unique client requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Attain sales goals within specified deadlines and implement corrective measures when deviations from the plan occur.
- Participating in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking with associations to promote products.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.
- Proactively prospecting architects, interior designers, and condominium developers in the Greater Toronto Area,
- Utilize and leverage your existing network and researching new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent lead generation.
- Develop and implement sales strategies effectively.
- Enhance colleagues’ performance by providing education and teaching improved processes, and by working as an integral part of the team.
- Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.
- Tailor marketing efforts to different customer segments.
Qualifications
The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role :
Minimum of 5 years experience interacting with decision-makers in a sales capacity in the GTA A&D Community.Minimum of 3 years' outbound sales experience in the residential interior finishes industry, working with architects, interior designers, builders, and / or developers.Consistently achieves and surpasses sales targets, achieving or ideally overachieving on commissions.Proven Canadian design / interior finishes sales experience with a track record of generating sales or providing marketing sales support.Excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to readily connect with clients and team members.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesStrong time management skills with the ability to handle a high volume of activity.Strong relationship-building skills to establish strong alliances with trades and vendorsEnjoys technology, and is proficient in utilizing MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and OutlookKnowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, digital marketing creative apps, and rendering applications such as Sketch-up & 3DMax is an asset.Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field, or AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate.Willingness to travel to client sites.Valid Drivers license.
