Nanny Wanted - Summer Child Care 2 Children; Aged 7 And 5

Overview :

Hello my name is Jessie. My husband and I are seeking a part time care giver for the summer months, in our home. Shifts would be 8-9 hours long, 2-3 days a week from end of June to beginning of September. From 830am until 530pm (or within these hours).

Our 5 year old daughter is non-verbal and requires full assistance for toileting (wears diapers), can walk short distances- a wheelchair / stroller and gait trainer / walker are available for use at the home. Our home is completely accessible for her safety. Her absolute favourite activity is swimming, but she also loves water play in general, sand and sensory play, swings and the hammock. She does require adjustments to meals- cut up small, but does feed herself. She does have epilepsy. We have a very well laid out seizure protocol and she is medicated.

Our 7 year old daughter is a very creative, artistic gal. She loves crafts, games, cards, puzzles, swinging in the hammock, swimming and socializing.

Service Requirements :

Our family is looking for someone who is energetic and creative with the kiddos, must be willing to go for walks, bike ride, to parks etc. Must be willing to swim in the pool with the kids and provide direct supervision.

CPR and first aid is necessary. Must be well versed in seizures and comfortable with first aid for choking events.

Experience with disabilities necessary. Must be easy going, able to go with the flow and ready to chase a toddler around.

Must also enjoy the company of a cat and dog (black lab). We have a fully fenced yard.
