Description de posteDrive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Air Brakes Endorsement Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Valid driver's licence Offers mentorship, coaching and / or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and / or refugees with experienced employees Offers mentorship, coaching and / or networking opportunities for youth Offers mentorship, coaching and / or networking opportunities for Veterans Offers mentorship, coaching and / or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers Offers mentorship, coaching and / or networking opportunities for mature workers Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
