Overview

Base pay range : IDR96,000,000.00 / yr - IDR132,000,000.00 / yr

Job Purpose : Responsible for engineering design, calculations for pre-qualifications, tenders, and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all engineering designs and calculations to ensure project success
  • Verify the suitability of selected vessels for the project requirements for Pre-Qual and Project
  • Develop and optimize the stowage / carriage capacity of the vessels for Pre-Qual and Project
  • Carry out Transportation Analysis
  • Conduct verification calculations with the Master of the vessel on the stability and sea worthiness of the vessel
  • Collaborate with Ops and HSQE to ensure the design of cargo will enable efficient and safe workflow
  • Prepare Stowage plan, towing arrangements, outfitting drawings etc
  • Maintain the registry of drawings
  • Perform site inspection when required
  • Adhere to the company HSQE policies and practices

Joint Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial & Ops Dept for the effective execution of Charters / Projects
  • Coordinate with Finance Dept for correct and timely invoicing

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture or related marine Engineering
  • Working experience in Marine Industry / Marine Transportation
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to conduct engineering design and verification for vessels and cargo
  • Ability to execute detailed drawings using AutoCAD (2D / 3D) software applications
