What it’s like to be a Lead Analyst, Planning & Reporting at Federated Insurance

The Lead Analyst will be representing Federated at the corporate level in committee setting and supporting corporate initiatives for Federated, this role will support operational excellence through key liaisons with sales, underwriting and the Federated executive team, providing insights and analysis into how we operate, where we need to be and how to get there. This role will have exposure to how an insurance company operates, through its operating model, initiatives, reporting, and work with key internal stakeholders.

If you are great at :

  • Advanced working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated presentation skills (both verbal & written)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with an awareness of potential blind spots
  • Proven skills in data interpretation including strong working knowledge of PowerBI and MicroStrategy

If you have :

  • Post-Secondary education and / or related on the job experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
  • Knowledge of / experience in insurance industry an asset.
