Job Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Electrician Journeyman.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment such as robots, dies, conveyors, programmable controllers, relay logic, etc.
• Diagnose apparatus like transformers, motors, and light fixtures; replace damaged wiring and fixtures.
• Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss options with management.
• Replace faulty electrical components of machines, such as relays, switches, and motors; position sensing devices.
• Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
• Plan wiring layouts and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Complete preventive maintenance as required.
• Maintain 5S standards in the plant and maintenance shop.
• Monitor plant lighting, replacing ballasts and bulbs as needed.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform all duties in a safe, healthful, and environmentally conscious manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
