What you’ll do
- Lead with Vision: Own the delivery and evolution of analytics solutions that touch every corner of our business—from smart metering to customer service and beyond.
- Build the Future: Champion our shift to modern platforms, streamline architecture, and lay the groundwork for AI and machine learning.
- Empower Teams: Form and guide agile, product‑oriented PODs—cross‑functional teams that move fast and deliver real value.
- Drive Change: Collaborate with business and IT leaders to set priorities, solve problems, and maximize technology investments.
- Coach & Inspire: Mentor analytics practitioners, foster experimentation, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner for Success: Forge strong relationships with vendors, partners, and internal teams to accelerate outcomes.
- Champion Governance: Implement frameworks that ensure data is trusted, accessible, and ready for action.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, engineering or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage diverse stakeholder groups and lead cross‑functional agile teams.
- Proven strategic leadership in Data and Analytics with 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience; utility sector experience preferred.
- Proven expertise in data discovery, modelling, AI, including data science workflows, analytics tools, and solution architecture.
- Strong knowledge of data sourcing, preparation, quality, and governance.
- Familiarity with ethical, privacy, and regulatory considerations in analytics deployment.
- Solid foundation in IT systems and enterprise architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex analytics solutions.
- Self‑starter with high results orientation and the ability to quickly make decisions.
- Strong knowledge of modern analytics platforms (Microsoft Fabric and SAP BDC is preferred).

- The Enterprise Analytics team employs a hybrid DevOps operating model that supports both full‑service and self‑service delivery, ensuring flexibility to meet the diverse needs of all business units.
