Nanny Wanted - Mother's Helper Needed

My name is Diana. My husband and I are searching for a nanny in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

We're looking for help with childcare for our 1 and 5 year old children, simple meal preparation, light housekeeping, groceries and daycare / school drop-offs and pick-ups. It is an asset if you are comfortable working with sick children (for those occasional sick days). The ideal caregiver would have previous experience with child care, although this isn't a requisite. Care of our kids is quite straightforward - the younger one is an "easy baby" and our 5 year old is a well-behaved and sociable young lady. We are flexible regarding hours. We can accommodate 10-25 hours a week, with either mornings only or split days between mornings and later afternoons; we would consider up to 30 hours if the nanny desired to provide extra home management hours, after-hours babysitting etc.

The mornings would consist of helping to get the children ready for daycare / school, daycare / school drop-offs and household chores / errands such as laundry for the kids' clothes, dishes, groceries. The afternoons would consist of daycare / school pick-ups. My husband and I still participate in the morning routine and like to do some drop-offs and pick-ups.

Our current nanny is moving out of country in a couple of months so the start time is flexible - December to January. Our current nanny will be available to help orient / transition our new nanny.

We require up to date First Aid, CPR and a background / criminal record check.

Pay is negotiable above $18 / hr based on experience and qualifications.
