Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations within the Quebec region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial / manufacturing company, and a strong understanding of financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
• Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
• Analyze production costs and recommend cost reduction initiatives.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Oversee internal and external audits.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Manage and mentor the finance team.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.
