Summary
Reporting to the Bell Business Markets Transformation & Delivery Director, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for end-to-end leadership and flawless execution of projects in the Managed Services, Security, Contact Centre and Cloud domains. Examples of projects include digital transformation, new tool introduction, solution and / or process enhancements, governance, new product introduction and non-standard complex solutions in order to drive growth, optimization and provide exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will possess strong project management skills, cross-functional leadership and a passion for coaching and talent development.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall program management of capital funded projects, strategic projects, governance and local initiatives
- Define program roadmap in alignment with Bell's strategic imperatives, including elaboration of business cases and budget management
- Preparation & facilitation of internal and executive presentations and team meetings related to program, roadmaps, and projects including strategic vision
- Work closely with senior resources in other departments to define high level project scope
- Accountable for change management strategy for projects in the program and mindful about scope creep
- Establish project governance and ensures adherence by team members
- Provide strategies to address project complexities and guide the project team mainly composed of project managers during the implementation phases
- Ensure the effective alignment, integration and control of the program's projects
- Proactively assess and respond to risks spanning multiple components of the program
Critical Qualifications
University degree in a related field or equivalent experience5+ years of Program Management experience5+ years of experience in a technical environment2+ years of experience in employees managementExceptional writing and communication skills in EnglishStrong presentation skills (i.e. peers, team members, executives, and clients)Ability to lead teams effectively by maximizing each team member's abilities and skillsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsStrong steering, negotiation and risk management skillsMust be proficient in Project Management tools, Word, Excel and PowerPointAdvanced efficiency in working in a virtual environmentGood knowledge of the Project Management Institute's approach to Project and Program Management and demonstrated successful completion of an advanced Program Management coursePreferred Qualifications
