Job Types : Seasonal, Full-time Contract length : 4 months

Positions and Pay Range :

Snow Plow / Truck - $28-30 / hr

Snow Plow / Loader - $30-32 / hr

Snow Plow / Sidewalk Tractor or Snow Plow / Gator - $25-28 / hr

Responsibilities :

• Operate snow plow equipment and hand tools to clear parking lots, and other designated areas
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient snow removal
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust plowing techniques as necessary
• Clear snow from sidewalks, entrances, and other walkways using shovels or snow blowers and assist others in work
• Spread salt or other de-icing materials to prevent ice buildup using hand tools and truck salter
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on snow plow equipment
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisor and assist with solution
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various sites for dangerous conditions and ice, 2 nights on 2 nights off.
• Remain available 24 / 7 for potential salting / plowing / monitoring / site checks etc
• Attend initial training, continuous training sessions (virtual and on site), site meetings and other requirements for jobs performance as needed

Requirements :

Ability to work on call 24 / 7 for the duration of the winter as well as scheduled shift work

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and clean criminal background check

Previous experience operating snow plow equipment preferred

Ability to work in cold and challenging weather conditions for extended periods of time

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary

Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently and as a team

Pay Structure :

At Inline Landscaping, when you become one of our winter team members we are committed to making sure you are trained and comfortable in your new snow removal position.

Part of this the guaranteed hours we provide our winter staff. This system of payment security is our version of stand by pay.

For Example (not necessarily accurate numbers) - If we offered you $25 / hr and 25hrs / week guaranteed, this would mean that you will be paid your hourly wage for 25hrs each week whether you work those hours or not. And we pay weekly! We do this to protect your income because the snow does not always fall, and that is not your fault. If you where to work more than your guaranteed 25hrs in a week you will be paid for the real hours worked.

Contract length : 4 months (Dec 1, 2024 - March 31 2025)

Pay : $25.00-$32.00 per hour
