General Labour - Warehouse

We are currently looking to hire a Warehouse Associate in the Milton area for a full-time position. The ideal candidate should have previous experience with shipping and receiving, be proficient in using an RF scanner, and be capable of loading and unloading orders as they arrive and depart from our facility. We value our team and are looking for an individual interested in a long-term position with opportunities for growth and development.

- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Time: 7L30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Transit: Accessible but limited
- Wage: $20/hr based on experience
- Location: Milton, ON
- Employment: Full-time, permanent position
- Protective gear: Steel-toed shoes required

Advantages
- Certified forklift operator with experience is an asset.
- Two years of distribution/logistics experience is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- Must be able to read and understand written instructions in English.
- Must be able to work with others and give directions as required.
- Perform routine tasks while remaining alert and flexible.
- Work steadily in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist the team in all areas as needed.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Operate machinery or manually load and unload containers as required
- Handle forklift operations (Reach) if needed
- Physically receive, store, and restock merchandise, and accurately record all transactions in our Warehouse Management system
- Prepare, pick, pack, hand wrap, and ship orders, and document all activities in our Warehouse Management system
- Adhere to warehouse standards, best practices, and technical concepts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Use an RF Scanner to organize orders and maintain inventory logs

Qualifications
- Ability to physically work on your feet, and lift up 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a Distribution center/Warehouse preferred
- Experience operating Forklifts such as Reach is an asset to this role
- Computer skills, basic knowledge
- Able to collaborate with our team, and work together to meet deadlines and assist where needed
