Our full service real estate client, a large player in the Vancouver market, is looking to hire a Payroll and Benefits Administrator for their team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Payroll and Benefits Administrator will be responsible for a multi-jurisdictional (Alberta and BC) hourly and salaried bi-weekly payroll for roughly 300 employees. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining vacation schedules and tracking accruals as well as benefits enrollments, administration and responding to queries in a timely fashion. With the recent upgrades to the payroll software, Payroll and benefits administration will make up roughly 80% of your time . The remaining 20% of your time will be focused on HR related, but these duties will be layered on to play to your strengths.
Job Requirements :
The ideal Payroll and Benefits Administrator will have 3+ years of full cycle, hands on payroll administration experience, including the processing of ROEs and T4s annually. Experience with ADP WorkforceNow (WFN) is an asset. Intermediate level MS Excel skills are necessary reconciliations. Besides someone who is positive, confidential and detail oriented, perhaps the most critical trait for someone in this position is a customer service orientation.
