A role with Deloitte’s Indigenous Talent Strategy Centre of Excellence team is an opportunity to make an impact in shaping our firm for the future, starting with our most important assets, our people.

What will your typical day look like?

As part of Deloitte’s Indigenous Talent Strategy Centre of Excellence, you will play a key role in assisting in the execution of Deloitte Canada’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and Indigenous Talent Strategy based on the guiding commitments under the pillars of Education, Economic Empowerment, Employment, and Inclusion. This role will leverage your skills to develop, plan, engage, assess and manage Indigenous programs and policies in coordination with the team at Deloitte. This position will also partner with other Indigenous professionals, both on our talent team and across the firm, to develop custom retention strategies and programs to increase employment opportunities for Indigenous Peoples across the firm.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely; however, it’s important to note that some travel may be required to fulfill job responsibilities. The extent and frequency of travel will depend on specific project needs and collaboration requirements.

About the team

You will also be joining our growing Indigenous community at Deloitte – which consists of Indigenous employees (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) across Turtle Island working in several different service lines at the firm. On top of participating in and celebrating Indigenous cultures both in the workplace and individually through paid cultural days, our Indigenous community helps provide invaluable advice to the different areas of the firm on advancing reconciliation in a corporate setting.

• Demonstrated interest in and commitment to furthering reconciliation with Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples
• Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively to promote diversity and inclusion efforts.
• Demonstrated project and HR lifecycle program management experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
