Job Title : Software Consultant (Contract)

Location : Fully Remote (Canada / US)

Aversan Inc. ( www.aversan.com  ) is a respected engineering firm specializing in Aerospace and Defense solutions. We are currently seeking a Software Consultant to support our Proposal Team in the development and assessment of an OpenGL SC2.0 Driver for Intel Tiger Lake Xe Graphics processors. This is a contract role with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Canada or the United States. The position plays a critical part in a cutting-edge air-taxi / EVTOL program , contributing to the maturity assessment and potential certification readiness of the driver.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess the maturity of the OpenGL SC2.0 Driver for Intel Tiger Lake processors.
  • Provide technical expertise to evaluate the driver for use in production and certification readiness.
  • Collaborate with the Proposal Team and customers to support driver development for certification in accordance with DO-178 standards.
  • Contribute to efforts for driver integration, ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.

Must-Have Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in OpenGL driver development , ideally with OpenGL SC2.0 .
  • Strong understanding of DO-178 standards and aviation certification processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Intel Tiger Lake Xe Graphics processors (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with air-taxi / EVTOL program requirements.
  • Expertise in developing safety-critical systems for aerospace or automotive applications.
