Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in North York, Ontario. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all reporting and auditing processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in financial management and consolidation.Responsibilities:- Oversee the consolidation of financial data across 10-15 entities to ensure accurate reporting.- Manage the month-end close process, including accruals and reconciliations.- Prepare comprehensive financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address inquiries.- Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance requirements.- Analyze financial data to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.- Support the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.- Implement improvements to financial processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.- Provide guidance and training to team members on financial best practices.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management and reporting.- Proven expertise in month-end close processes and accrual accounting.- Strong background in consolidating financial data across multiple entities.- Familiarity with external audit processes and regulatory compliance.- Proficiency in preparing detailed financial statements.- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
