Our client, located in Concord Ontario , is looking for an Program Manager to join their team.
Pay Rate : $90k
Hybrid work available
Skills :
- Possess sound financial and business knowledge
- Intermediate understanding of tool design (core, cavity, ejection, injection, actions (lifters / slides), components)
- Intermediate understanding of tool manufacturing (3D CNC machining, 2D boring mill, gundrilling, EDM)
- Intermediate understanding of toolmaking process (fitting of components, spotting core to cavity parting line, disassembly / assembly, polishing, welding)
- Proficient in the use of 3D NX design software for the purpose of part / tool interrogation
- Effectively network and communicate to utilize resources within the company
- Strong Microsoft Office (including Project and Visio) and Outlook skills
- Perform well in high pressure situations
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and facilitation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills verbal and electronic
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to communicate in a second language, an asset (Spanish, Mandarin, German)
EDUCATION or EXPERIENCE :
- 6-9 years of experience in mold making, machining or automotive manufacturing
- Extensive program management experience in the medium to large size tooling industry
- Must have good understanding of the tool function and manufacturing processes for injection tools
- Mold design experience (large size tooling) with an emphasis on part / tooling feasibility
- Mold making and mold processing experience (preferably with fascias), an asset
