Powershell Scripter / Developer : Procom KW is seeking an Powershell Scripter / Developer for a contract role with one our clients in the financial sector.

Powershell Scripter / Developer Job Details

As an Powershell Scripter / Developer, you will be creating PowerShell scripts, which interact with the SCCM 2012 environment, to enable various automation opportunities as part of an overall automation and orchestration project for OS Patching.

Powershell Scripter / Developer Responsibilities

  • Creation of PowerShell scripts using SCCM cmdlets
  • Gather and understand requirements along with interpret the objectives and look for ways to help accomplish the goals
  • Be an active member of a dedicate Agile pod
  • Ensure stories are kept up to date with comments and accurately reflect the work done
  • Facilitate and participate in discussions to overcome technical challenges by finding workarounds and solutions

Powershell Scripter / Developer Must Have Skills

  • PowerShell code development
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Data analysis and reporting using SQL
  • PowerShell scripting with SCCM cmdlet libraries
  • Knowledge of SQL query design
  • Knowledge of other scripting languages and allowing ability to learn other DevOps tools

  • Strong facilitation and troubleshooting skills to work around and\or solution technical or business problems with a cross-functional team
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with a global team
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Attentive to detail and ability to identify gaps early in projects
  • Able to suggest process improvements, but also to follow a process and ensure all required steps are completed
  • Experience working on medium to large scale technology projects
  • A technical background with an aptitude for learning new technology quickly
