Make an impact with our Tax team as an Accountant. This diverse team of professionals delivers customized tax strategies within a complex and dynamic regulatory framework. As a trusted advisor, you’ll design solutions for clients that meet compliance and reporting requirements, minimize risk, drive efficiencies and maximize returns.

Responsibilities

• Set‑up files for new clients and newly incorporated businesses, manage multiple files simultaneously and conduct inventory counts
• Assist in the preparation personal tax returns, corporate tax returns, trust tax returns, partnership returns, capital dividend account elections, section 85 tax elections and other tax compliance forms
• Preparation of capital dividend account elections, section 85 election forms and other tax compliance forms.
• Research various tax‑related issues and conclude on their potential implications
• Collect and analyze relevant financial and tax data
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns for various types of entities
• Assist in the preparation of tax instruction letters, technical memorandums and client reporting letters and documentation to support a working paper file
• Collaborate with client engagement team and build relationships with client contacts
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

The Annual salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000
