Maintenance Supervisor - Facilities

Location - Brampton, ON

Salary Range : $46 / hr to 50 / hr + Bonus, Benefits, RRSP Match

Our client is a manufacturer in the Automotive sector looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, performing preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and building regulations.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, inspections, and facility upgrades.

Manage preventive maintenance programs for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.

Facilities equipment includes Boilers, Chillers, Compressors, Waste water, Cranes, etc

Coordinate facility inspections, emergency repairs, and vendor services.

Monitor and track maintenance budgets, expenses, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Schedule and coordinate contractors

Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules and track work orders to completion.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate facility needs and resolve issues promptly.

Assist in preparing and implementing facility improvement plans, including cost estimates for projects.

Oversee the operation of the building’s security and safety systems, including alarms, fire systems, and emergency lighting.

Act as a liaison between facility staff, vendors, and contractors.

Mandatory Requirements :

Electrical or Mechanical C of Q. Engineering Diploma or Degree preferably Electrical or Mechanical is suitable as well.

5+ years of experience as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Experience with equipment installs, upgrades, and capital projects
