Junior Accountant

We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our client’s team as a  Junior Accountant  in  Thorold, ON !

In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll help our client with their Accounting needs.

What You’ll Do :

Assist in executing the month-end close process by preparing account reconciliations and reviewing variances.

Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams with invoice processing and credit management.

Work with inventory and procurement teams to ensure proper record keeping for stock items.

Contribute to process improvement projects within the department.

Monitor daily cash balances and help oversee daily cash flow needs.

Assist in maintaining company prepaid expense records, including monthly accruals and adjustments.

Assist in the reconciliation of corporate credit statements and manage related expense queries.

Help maintain the fixed asset schedule and support fleet management.

Support the preparation and filing of sales and corporate tax reports.

Ensure compliance with internal and external monthly reporting requirements.

What We’re Looking For :

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an asset.

Familiarity with ASPE financial reporting is an asset.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits :

Salary of $50,000 to $55,000
