Sr. Business Project Manager to support various initiative of our banking client
Location : Hybrid - DT Toronto (1-2 days a week)
Duration : 6 months with possible extension
LOB : Personal and business banking
Must haves :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management , with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects
- Experience with Everyday Banking Products, Home Financing, and Personal Lending Products
- Knowledge of Retail Investment products
- Familiarity with AML / OSFI / Regulatory requirements
- PMP certification is mandatory
- Expertise in using Clarity and Microsoft Project to manage project timelines, resources, and reporting
- Strong business PM skills with a focus on change management and stakeholder engagement
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex, cross-functional projects within the banking environment, ensuring successful delivery on time and within scopeTransition into an ongoing project, taking ownership and driving it forward with minimal supportCoordinate and manage project schedules, resources, and risks using Clarity and Microsoft ProjectCollaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to align on project objectives and ensure successful outcomesImplement and manage change management processes to support project execution and stakeholder buy-inProduce detailed project plans, timelines, and regular status reports for senior leadershipManage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking project expensesIdentify and mitigate project risks, and escalate issues when necessaryEnsure project compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly AML, OSFI, and other financial regulations
