HR Coordinator

Our client is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis in Ottawa, Ontario. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and administrative tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful work within a not-for-profit environment.Responsibilities:- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.- Assist with the onboarding process by preparing employment offers, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.- Oversee volunteer registration processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and requirements.- Provide administrative support to HR functions, such as maintaining employee records and updating HR systems.- Coordinate and track employee training programs to ensure compliance and skill development.- Process payroll and benefits administration tasks using ADP Workforce Now and/or Dayforce systems.- Support the implementation and management of HR policies and procedures.- Address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment of HR initiatives.Qualifications:- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a not-for-profit organization.- Proficiency in HR systems, such as ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, or similar platforms.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with employees and volunteers.- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and managing employee records.- Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration processes.- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.If this position interests you, please do not hesitate and please apply online today!Job Reference Number: 0013303155Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
