Key responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Structural Engineer (P.Eng.) to join our clients’ structural engineering team. This is a hands-on, technically focused role for someone who thrives on solving complex design challenges, reviewing detailed drawings, and ensuring compliance and efficiency across all engineering deliverables. This isn’t your typical engineering leadership role; we’re looking for someone that is a strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on approach, a strong communicator, a skilled problem-solver with sound professional judgment and someone who is organized, proactive, and enthusiastic about working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment…. Areas of responsibility include :

Technical Leadership

• Perform and review structural analysis and design for steel and pre-engineered building systems (CSA, AISC, NBC standards).
• Prepare and validate design calculations, connection designs, and engineering drawings.
• Review and stamp engineering packages, shop drawings, and fabrication details.
• Ensure designs meet client specifications, structural integrity, and constructability requirements.

Support value engineering initiatives to optimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Project Management

Partner with clients, architects, and contractors to resolve design challenges.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

Contribute to developing technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
