This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Elevation Centre OR Markham Elevation Centre three times per week at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business.

About the Role :

The Sub-System Lead Engineer (SSLE) is responsible for leading the development definition and documentation of requirements for applicable sub-systems or Agile Release Train (ART) solutions. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams ensuring technical specifications are well-defined system behavior is clearly documented and compliance with requirements is maintained throughout the development lifecycle. As a technical domain expert and single point of contact the SSLE provides guidance on system design troubleshooting and optimization and owns the development and delivery of solutions driving cross team and group efforts.

This SSLE role focuses on controls of the BEVHeat system which involves thermal management strategies for cabin and powertrain heating / cooling in electric vehicles.

What Youll Do :

• Create and maintain Behavior Technical Specifications (BTS) with a focus on Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles ensuring customer impact is well understood.
• Leads Triad Meetings with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication quick decision-making and continuous improvement throughout the development process.
• Provides technical Leadership and mentorship for thermal control Systems
• Maintain Interface Requirements in DOORS and collaborate with Feature System Architects (FSAs) to ensure requirement structure and intent align with program objectives.

Compensation :

The salary range for this role is $ 115000 to $ 164600. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
