Controller

Adecco is actively seeking a Controller to join our client's team and lead all financial, accounting, treasury, and taxation functions of the organization. Reporting closely to the CEO, this senior leadership role plays a critical part in strategic decision-making, financial governance, and operational excellence. The Controller will lead and develop a high-performing finance team, strengthen controls and reporting, and drive automation and systems optimization to support the organization's continued growth.

Pay Rate : $160k / year.

Job type : Permanent | Full-time Responsibilities :

Oversee all financial, operational accounting, treasury, and taxation functions.

Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Management Team on key decisions and transactions.

Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team while fostering operational excellence.

Oversee monthly and annual financial close processes and management reporting.

Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and long-term financial planning.

Optimize and automate finance processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Strengthen internal controls, governance, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.

Leverage Power BI and data analytics to enhance financial insights and decision-making.

Build strong relationships with internal leaders and external stakeholders. Requirements :

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

MBA in Accounting or Finance with CPA, CA designation.

8-15 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including team leadership.

Proven ability to support senior management and lead high-performing teams.

Strong expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and ERP optimization.

Proficiency with Power BI; Shopify experience an asset.

Advanced financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.

Excellent knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, costing, and pricing.
